La Parrillada Steak House Puerto Plata is opening a second restaurant in Sosua in early January 2012. La Parrillada Steak House –Sunset Valley is located just outside the main entrance of the residential project Sunset Valley Estates, previously named Terra Mar.
La Parrillada Steak House, currently operating in Puerto Plata, opens its doors in Sosua first week January 2012! The steak house, established in 1986 by John F. Garrido, celebrates 25 years of business in Puerto Plata this year. They offer a unique concept with delicious sizzling meats prepared on their outdoor charcoal grill, visible to the customers. They are most famous for their local and imported churrasco and other great steaks and ribs!
John built the original restaurant himself and started by selling hamburgers. Some years later, a part of the open-air patio was enclosed with air conditioning and the menu revamped to include their now famous churrasco with a more extensive menu including poultry, pork, seafood, pastas and much more.
In November 2009, Joanne Roy, a Canadian living in the Dominican Republic since January 2000 and working in Tourism, became a partner. Joanne brought her strong customer service skills to the team and ensures every single customer has a memorable dining experience each and every visit!
